Fitness Center

Hours of Operation:

Mon-Fri: 5am-7pm
Sat-Sun: 8am-3pm
Combat Conditioning Room open during regular operation hours only.
Unmanned Access is available to Active Duty, Family Members and DoD Permanent Personnel working and/or living aboard MCLB Barstow. CAC registration is required.
Appointments can be made by calling (760) 577-6898.

Your safety is our top priority. Please review our current policies:

  • Practice Social Distancing: 10ft distance per NAVMED guidance
  • Limit to 25 patrons within the facility at any one time
  • Open to Active Duty, Dependents, and permanently assigned civilians to the installation
  • Workouts limited to 1 hour
  • Please sanitize or wash hands prior to entering
  • No locker rooms, sauna, basketball or racquetball courts

Marine Memorial Golf Course

Impacted Hours of Operation

Child Care:
Child and Youth Program facilities have curtailed regular program operations. Services will continue to be extended to families who are currently enrolled in a child development center or school-age care programs, where families have expressed a need for child care through parent surveys. We will continue to provide services from 5:45am-5:45pm Mon–Fri for those families until further notice. Regular child care fees will apply.

Care will be offered to a limited number of children at the centers, utilizing a maximum capacity for health and safety, based on social distancing requirements, IAW San Diego Public Health. Children in care must be symptom-free from any illness. Health Checks will be conducted daily in the program lobby prior to signing children into care. If you have questions regarding child care services please call (760) 577-6287 between 8am-5pm Mon–Fri. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Route 66:
Route 66 Café has temporarily relocated to the MajGen James L. Day Conference Center. Route 66 Café will continue to operate from the Conference Center unless otherwise noted. Operational hours are from 6am-2pm and call in orders are encouraged at (760) 577-6428.We are now located inside BLDG 38, north of Boll Avenue, by the Oasis Pool and can be accessed by North Iwo Jima on the east or Wake Avenue on the west. We appreciate all of your support and look forward to seeing you soon.

ITT & Latitudes Travel:
ITT Barstow has moved to the Marine Memorial Golf Course at BLDG 100.
Turn left prior to the main gate at MCLB Barstow and follow the golf course signs near the railroad tracks, through the tunnel to the golf clubhouse.
